Selective Shades started over 25 years ago by founder Mike Wholey. Mike was an automotive enthusiast. He worked on complete automotive renovations and picked up window tinting to improve the quality and performance of vehicles. The business started in North Carolina and later moved to Caroline County, VA where it still operates at today.

After the passing of Mike, his son Arthur is living his legacy and continuing his business. Selective Shades specializes in automotive, commercial, and residential applications.
